Kris & Shelley's Wedding - July 19, 2015

We loved being a part of Kris and Shelley's dream wedding at Ford's Colony on July 19, 2015. Kris, originally from Gloucester, and Shelley, originally from Michigan, both work for the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office. Kris is a Sheriff's Deputy and Shelley works in Administration.

Kris and Shelley met at work but didn't begin dating until 3 years later. They got engaged on December 20, 2014 in City Center in Newport News after having dinner at their favorite restaurant. They took a picture with the big Christmas tree all lit up in the background and then soon enough, they were walking around the fountain and Kris got down on one knee and proposed. Shelley was completely shocked and surprised. Kris dropped the ring when he opened the box but luckily it didn't bounce into the fountain!

Shelley found flower ideas for their wedding on our website and Pinterest! She loves hot pink and black so it was the perfect color theme for their celebration.
