High School & College Sweethearts - Christian & Michelle's Special Day

Christian Nott and Michelle Hollcraft met during their Junior Year of High School (Fall 2010) in AP U.S. History Class at Paul VI High School in Fairfax, VA. A year later, they soon started dating during the fall of their senior year of high school, after they went to Homecoming together -- and have been together ever since.

After high school, Christian's family moved to Wisconsin and the couple traveled to different places to follow their dreams. They kept in contact through letters, text messages, phone calls, Skype sessions and traveling to see each other on breaks. After transferring from different schools and programs, Christian and Michelle both ended up in Williamsburg at The College of William & Mary. Christian received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Math Minor and was part of the Army ROTC program for all 4 years. He is now an infantry officer in the Iowa National Guard. Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Sciences.

Some time later, after enjoying dinner together, Christian asked Michelle to marry him on August 18, 2015 at The Waterfront in LaCrosse, WI. They soon began wedding planning. The couple worked together to compromise on both of their favorite colors for their special day - Peach for Michelle and Blue for Christian. Michelle also wanted to incorporate her favorite flower, sunflowers, into their bouquets.

They got married in a beautiful ceremony on May 16, 2016 at St. Bede's Chapel in Willliamsburg, VA. Michelle said, "We both enjoyed our wedding day and were so happy with the flowers from Morrison's Flowers!"

We're excited to share these beautiful pictures with you by Heather Hughes Photography.

Happy first anniversary to this wonderful couple... Congratulations and we wish you a lifetime of happiness, special moments and so much love!
