Chelsie & Joshua's Wedding - June 6, 2015

Chelsie (Brinkley) Baker and Joshua Baker were married on June 6, 2015 at Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg, Va. The happy couple resides in Newport News, Va. and both work at Newport News Shipbuilding.

Both Joshua and Chelsie are from the Williamsburg area. Joshua graduated from Lafayette High School in 2004 and Chelsie graduated from Grafton High School also in 2004. Josh and Chelsie met through her best friend, Melyssa. They quickly became friends and began dating in September 2012. Josh asked Chelsie to marry him on the beach in Nags Head, NC in front of both of their parents in a surprise engagement, two days before her birthday on June 14, 2014.

As far as inspiration for the wedding, Chelsie turned to Pinterest. Gray, light pink, and touches of navy blue were the colors they chose. Chelsie wanted everything to be light in color and very classic and elegant - and we think they did just that! The tall centerpieces at the reception were composed of white blooming branches, accented with white hydrangeas.

We asked Chelsie and Josh to share any extra special moments from their wedding with us and they said their favorite moment during the wedding was the best man and made of honor speeches, which meant so very much to both of them!
