A Classic, Southern Summer Wedding - Scott and Tara
Scott and Tara Radcliffe, both originally from Virginia Beach, got married on June 10, 2017 at Kiln Creek Resort & Golf Club in Newport News, VA.
They met for the first time in 2008 - when they met working at the Cavalier Hotel -- Tara was working at the front desk and Scott was a valet. They began to see a lot of each other and quickly discovered that they had quite a few mutual friends. Fast forward to 2012, when they officially started dating -- and their love story began. On May 29, 2016, Scott proposed to Tara and she said, "Yes!"
Next, it was time to start planning the wedding! Mint is Tara's favorite color, which she knew she wanted to incorporate in their special day and chose this color for the bridesmaid dresses. After a lot of color swatch research, she decided on a color scheme of mint and peach with accents of gold. "I love the Southern, clean, classic feel of peach, coral, and white flowers together," said Tara. "I also love the elegance a pop of gold can bring."
When asked about special details of their wedding day, Tara shares that one of the most special things that we helped with was her elegant arch - which she had her heart set on to stand under while her and Scott said their vows. She shares, "Arlene was able to put together an affordable, but amazing and breathtaking arrangement for me." It was also very important to Tara to have a cascading bouquet, as her mother carried a cascading bouquet when she married her father. "Arlene and team made my vision come to life, Tara said, "It was the most beautiful, vibrant bouquet I have ever seen!"
Congratulations to this wonderful couple! We loved being a part of your special day and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
